GildedDate is a sugar dating site for ID-verified adults. Sugar daddies and sugar mommas (we call them Mentors) meet sugar babies (we call them Muses) who want mentorship, travel and real company.

Sugar dating is dating between an established, generous partner and a younger, ambitious one, where both say what they want up front. It is dating, not escorting: paying for sex is illegal and banned on GildedDate.
Is sugar dating legal?
Dating between consenting adults is legal. Exchanging money for sex is not, and anyone who offers or asks for it on GildedDate is removed.
How much does GildedDate cost?
Joining is free, and Muses never pay to join or get verified. Mentors can upgrade to Premium for $89.99 a month or Diamond for $274.99 a month. Plans renew monthly and can be cancelled anytime, and stay active until the end of the period you paid for.
What do founding members get?
People who join before we open get a numbered founding spot, a gold Founding badge for good, and are shown first in Browse. Founding Mentors also get Premium free for 1 month from opening day.
How does verification work?
Every member confirms they are 18 or older with a photo of a government ID and a live selfie, checked by our verification partner. It takes a few minutes, it's required before you can send messages, and verified profiles show a badge.
Are there fake profiles?
No. We never create or pay for profiles to make the site look busier, and nobody can message anyone until they have verified their ID and a live selfie.
Can I meet members in other cities?
Yes, with Travel mode. Premium and Diamond members, and verified Muses, can browse any city and post an upcoming trip with dates. While the trip is coming up, members in that city see a Traveling badge on your profile. Everyone else sees members near their home city.
Who can see my profile?
Only signed-in members. Mentors see Muses and Muses see Mentors. Member profiles are never shown in Google or other search engines.
What isn't allowed?
Escorting, solicitation and anything paid "per meet"; asking for money, gift cards or crypto before meeting; explicit content; and anyone under 18. Breaking the rules gets an account removed.
How do I stay safe?
Keep chatting on GildedDate until you trust someone, video chat before meeting, meet in public and tell a friend your plans. Never send money to someone you haven't met. Our sugar dating safety guide has more tips.
